What this site is

Ummah Directory is a directory of Muslim professionals. Ummah Media Group runs it.

It is free to search and free to be listed.

It is a list. It is not a medical, legal or financial service, and nothing on it is professional advice.

We do not recommend one professional over another. The order of a list is not a rating.

This site is not for emergencies. In the United States, call 911. For a mental health crisis in the United States, call or text 988.

A page we built from a public page

We build some pages from a public page: a professional's own site, a professional association's page, or a professional directory.

Each of these pages says where it came from, links to that page, and says that it is not claimed yet.

The professional did not write it and may not know about it.

If a page is about you, you can claim it for free or ask us to remove it. Both links are on the page.

Credentials

Credentials on a page are self-reported, or copied from the page it was built from. We do not check them.

A page here does not mean that a person holds a licence in your state or province.

Before you rely on a professional, check with that professional and with the body that licenses them.

Claiming a page

Claiming a page is free.

When you claim a page, you say that you are that professional, or that you may act for them.

A person on our team checks a claim before the page changes, unless the claim link went to an email address already on the page.

We can undo a claim that is not true.

Your page

What you put on your page must be true. Do not state a licence, a credential or a result that you do not have.

You answer for what your page says.

You can ask us to remove your page at any time. On a ready page, "Remove this page" deletes it at once.

Paid membership

There is a paid membership for professionals, Ummah One Professional. It is not on sale on this site today.

When it is on sale, this page will say the price, and you can cancel any time.

A page here is free. You never need to pay to be listed or to claim a page.

Using the directory

Do not copy the directory in bulk.

Do not use it to send advertising or bulk messages to the people listed.

Do not use it to harass anyone, or to pretend to be someone else.

What we do not promise

We work to keep pages correct. We do not promise that every page is correct or up to date.

What you arrange with a professional is between you and that professional.

As far as the law allows, Ummah Media Group is not liable for a loss that comes from relying on a page here.

Changes and contact

We can change or remove a page, for example when its owner asks, or when it is not true.

When we change these terms, we change the date below.

How we handle information is on the Privacy page.
